Scheduled deployment of the Next Europa IT Platform release 2.5.83

Dear Next Europa/Multisite Drupal users,

The production environment will have limited availability on Monday, 15 October, between 17:00 and 21:00.

More details on the changes can be found in the release notes.

• Prior to the deployment of this release on production, it will be deployed on playground on 11 October (14:00 - 17:00). Should you detect any issues, please report them to europamanagement@ec.europa.eu.
• During the deployment, a short downtime is expected, in the range of 5-10 minutes, for each site. Due to the batch update procedure, no specific timeline for individual sites can be provided. We recommend that during this period (17:00 - 21:00), editors refrain from working on their website as they may experience issues while saving data which will result in work being lost.
• After the deployment our team will run some manual checks. If any issues are detected we will roll-back the deployment to the previous version. Please contact europamanagement@ec.europa.eu if you experience any issues after the deployment.

If your site is hosted outside the multisite environment and is concerned by this new release, please note that the security patch "print-SA-CONTRIB-2018-063-nept-2083.patch" and the hotfix "xmlsitemap-2986847-2-nept-2082.patch" are still to be applied. They will only be included in a release deployed in November.
