As conveyed at the latest Europa Forum meeting, most Webtools resources hosted on //ec.europa.eu/wel/ are deprecated (see below for the exhaustive list) and will be switched off end December 2016.

1. Openlayers-based maps
Deprecated resources: /wel/maps/open_layers/
Please move towards using the new corporate web mapping framework documented here: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/fpfis/wikis/display/webtools/Map and try out the basic map wizard: http://europa.eu/webtools/mgmt/wizard/ui.php?uec=bmap

2. Like/Dislike
Deprecated resources: /wel/like/
No replacement is foreseen

3. Twitter feeds (social media kit)
Deprecated resources: /wel/social-media-kit/
Please move towards integrating the Twitter feeds with the Unified Embed Code documented here: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/fpfis/wikis/display/webtools/Social+Media+Kit and try out the wizard: http://europa.eu/webtools/mgmt/wizard/ui.php?uec=smk

4. Share buttons (social bookmarking)
