Dear EC core site editors, 

We would like to inform you of the following:

• Language versions of the department pages will be temporarily removed
• They will be replaced by eTranslation (machine translation)
• This replacement will be in effect until the human translations of all department pages are completed by DGT

If you would like a preview of eTranslation, you can check the department page of DG COMM in French, where eTranslation is already applied.

eTranslation will be activated on all DGs and executive agencies’ department pages this week and no action is required from web editors at this stage.

Web editors may update their department pages but do not need to send them for translation at this time.

eTranslation will be deactivated from these pages as soon as human translations are completed.
