Webtools - Asset Manager - Request to clean outdated large files in your static sites

On Friday 7 August 2020, your static sites were migrated from the former Staging Manager to the new Asset Manager.
This migration is an opportunity to clean the information system (IS) from outdated large files.

These files consume a large amount of disk space in the datacenter.
They have a significant impact on the budget available for the corporate tool.
Cleaning the disk space will make the web presence of the European Commission more cost effective.

We have identified a list of files that are larger than 500Mb on your static sites.
You can check this list of files in the attached document.

We request that you review this list and make a note for each file whether we should keep or delete it. If needed, you can download the files from the Asset Manager and keep them as a backup.

We kindly ask that you immediately look at the list. Please reply to this message in order to communicate the expected date of when your entire list can be reviewed?

If you do not reply to this email by the end of February and do not provide us with a list of files that must be kept, we will consider that all of your files can be deleted.

Thank you for your kind help.
