Confluence Wiki - Two-factor authentication outside the EC network (UPDATE)

You recently received a communication informing you about the upcoming implementation of two-factor authentication (2FA) for the Webtools Confluence space, following an identified security risk. 2FA is the only current way with which your users will be able to securely authenticate to perform read or other actions on your Webtools Confluence space.
 
Based on the identified business continuity impact, the original target date for implementation of the 2FA has been moved from 29 May to 08 June to give you enough time to manage the transition. Please note that this is a hard deadline. We count on you to motivate your stakeholders to get prepared for 2FA.

We suggest that you reach out to your users and ask them to choose a verification method from the EU Login user guide before that date.
