A Europe fit for the digital age

We would like to inform you that preparations are underway for the launch of the Commission priority ‘A Europe fit for the digital age’ on 19 February 2020.

The SPP is working to finalise texts and documents for publication on the Commission website. COMM will update the current priority page accordingly.

Once the final version is published, we would kindly ask you to consider whether your DG/Department has content related to this priority. If so, you may be interested to attend a special editorial working group at DG COMM on Wednesday 4 March 2020 between 14:30 and 16:00.

Together with the SPP and other DGs/Departments that have a stake in the ‘A Europe fit for the digital age’ priority, we will discuss how to best approach related content such as cross-linking, avoiding duplication, and liaising with your SPP contact. COMM hosted a similar editorial working group for the ‘Green Deal’ priority in January and DGs reported back to us that they found it useful.
