With the COVID pandemic having revealed the need to react quickly to health crises, the EU renewed its focus on digitising access to health data for research and policy making (secondary use of health data). HealthData@EU within the European Health Data Space (EHDS) is preparing a new infrastructure for cross-border data sharing through eDelivery.
