Welcome to the latest edition of the CEF Building Blocks Bulletin.

On 30 June 2020, the 2020-2 Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom call for proposals opened. €1 million in CEF grant funding is available to co-fund projects deploying the CEF eArchiving Building Block. The Public Open Data call makes €3 million available for projects looking to generate, make accessible and reuse public sector information in a way that benefits EU citizens, businesses and public administrations. Such projects are encouraged to reuse existing, mature APIs like the CEF Context Broker Building Block. On 16 July 2020, INEA is holding a Virtual Info Day to share information on the evaluation process with potential applicants, and tips and tricks for writing a strong proposal. 

In this edition, we look at how Zipper Services Romania, a company that helps organisations optimise their efficiency and document processing, is reusing the CEF eSignature Building Block to ensure its service offering is fully compliant and as effective as possible. 

In addition, for those who wish to submit change requests to the eInvoicing code lists, the deadline is 22 August 2020.
