EBP/EBSI events:

  • 22 and 23 October 2019 (internal) - the "EBSI joint user group workshop" brought together experts working on some of the use cases: European Self-Sovereign Identity (ESSIF), diplomas, notarisation and the Technical Infrastructure group.

    The European Commission organised this workshop to finalise and validate the analysis and architecture phase of EBSI in order to continue the development of EBSI 1.0 in November 2019.

    This workshop was also an ideal opportunity to prepare the upcoming European Blockchain Partnership Policy and Technical groups quarterly meeting, scheduled to take place during the “Convergence - The Global Blockchain Congress” on 11-13 November 2019 in Malaga, Spain.

  • 11 and 13 November 2019 - "Convergence - The Global Blockchain Congress" (Malaga, Spain). This event aims to bring together a worldwide community of regulators, policy makers, industry influencers, C-suite and other corporate representatives, developers, researchers and entrepreneurs for an intense dialogue about the applications of blockchain. It offers participants a chance to take part in direct discussion with the movers and shapers of the blockchain industry, and thereby help define not just the future of blockchain but the next generation Internet and digital economy.
