Hello,

Welcome to the latest edition of the CEF Building Blocks Bulletin.

This week, we look at how the Big Data Test Infrastructure (BDTI) Building Block is helping the EU's statistical office (Eurostat) and an agency for vocational training (CEDEFOP), to better understand the European job market through online job advertisement data. This will provide valuable insights for making policies that improve competitiveness and ensure the European workforce can meet demands.

The eTranslation Building Block now has an added functionality, and is able to translate in simplified Chinese Mandarin, building on the addition of Russian last December. CEF eTranslation is also playing a key role in an initiative to make multilingual COVID-19 information more accessible to the general public. In addition, there is an upcoming webinar on the DBPTK database archiving solution.

Do you have a story to tell us about how you are Connecting Europe? Just reply to this email and be featured in our next newsletter.

Kind regards,

The CEF Digital team
