In this edition, we have a new and inspiring success story, important news from the PEPPOL network, eIDAS, a White Paper on sustainable language data sharing and some event highlights.

We would like to remind you that on 30 January 2020 we will host an information session for the Digital Innovation Challenge! This challenge invites SMEs and startups to propose innovative services and solutions based on open and reusable CEF Building Blocks and ISA² solutions. SMEs and startups can win € 50 000 (first place), € 20 000 (second place) and € 10 000 (third place). This info session is an absolute must for those interested in the challenge!

CEF funding supported ParaCrawl, the largest collection of language resources for many European languages. ParaCrawl is significantly improving machine translation quality.

Access point accreditation: EU, AU, NZ & SG - first in the world in all four PEPPOL territories

This decision will take effect as of 1 February 2020 and it means that every participant in the PEPPOL network must be capable to support the AS4 protocol.

Technical update

Successful integration of eID Schemes notified in 2018 with EU Login

As of 2019, five additional Member States – Belgium, Croatia, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain – have successfully integrated their respective notified eID Schemes with EU Login.
