The EU Publications Office based its long-term preservation service on international archiving standards

Chosen standards are considered best practice and help organisations to save time and resources, increase interoperability and enhance security, while guaranteeing the trustworthiness of a digital archive.

We showed EU Commission employees our machine translation tool, designed for security and EU staff needs.

CEF eSignature at the 3rd Foss Hackathon

The Hackathons aimed to improve and contribute to open source software. During the Hackathon, the participants were able to discuss the current DSS (Digital Signature Service) version of our eSignature Building Block and propose enhancements for the performance and scalability of the DSS.

eInvoicing and eProcurement session in the EU week of regions and cities

On 10 October, we invited EU and National experts to share their experiences and best practices regarding the adoption of eInvoicing guidelines at the sub-central level. The take away? There isn't a unique method, applicable to all. However, interoperability is key.

CEF Telecom: Over €16 million EU investment to develop further trans-European digital services in 2019

The results are out! INEA published the outcome of its February-July 2019 call for funding. We're proud to say that €16 million went towards projects employing one or more CEF Building Blocks. We are well on our way to a more digital Europe.

Release of CEF eIDAS-Node version 2.3.1

The European Commission is pleased to announce the release of the CEF eIDAS-Node software version 2.3.1 on 29 October 2019. The main change in release 2.3.1 is the added fix for a reported vulnerability.

CEF eSignature training on Trusted List Manager 5.6

On 23 October 2019, the European Commission organised a training for Trusted List Scheme Operators (TLSOs) in Brussels, Belgium. The training concerned the Trusted List Manager 5.6. Click below for a detailed overview.
