Updates on eLearning

In April 2023, 6 new eLearning courses were added to the collection in the BTSF ACADEMY. Click on each of the links to know more:
- Animal welfare at slaughter - including killing for disease control - eLearning module
- Animal disease contingency planning
- Broiler welfare on farms
- Agri-food fraud investigation techniques
- Agri-food fraud investigation techniques in e-commerce
- Food Improvement Agents
- Risk mitigation measures for pesticides use
We are currently upgrading the 8 older courses and on 30th June, an upgraded version of the eLearning course on Animal welfare at slaughter - including killing for disease control was released. More upgrades will follow in due course.

Additionally, 3 new courses are now under development on the following topics:
- National Audit Systems and Internal Auditing (AUDITS)
- Production and trade of bivalve molluscs (LBM)
- Trade Control and Expert System (TRACES)
Participants who successfully pass the examinations at the end of the basic level eLearning courses on AUDITS and LBM will be prioritised to participate in the advanced level face-to-face courses on the same topics.
The TRACES course will be a 4-part modular course with elements for officials and non-official stakeholders who need to utilise TRACES in their daily work.
