Save the date. The event will focus on how to make the best possible use of the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) method supported under Rural Development (EAFRD), Fisheries (EMFF), Regional Development (ERDF) and Social (ESF) Funds.

Following on the 2015 edition, this two-day event will provide an opportunity for a broad exchange of views on the state of EU agriculture and the global issues which lie ahead such as climate change.

Celebrating 25 years of LEADER in Europe, the European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD) will gather relevant stakeholders to put forward proposals for improvement of LEADER/CLLD implementation in the 2021-2027 period. Topics include CLLD and multi-funding; coordination; and transnational and inter-territorial cooperation.

This masterclass is designed for agricultural entrepreneurs wishing to improve their farming businesses in an innovative and sustainable way. In offers insight into new technologies and product innovations as means of increasing growth and profitability of rural businesses.

This ENRD workshop on ‘Smart LEADER’ strategies will focus on knowledge and asset-based innovation. If you would like to share an example of a Local Action Group (LAG) that has excelled in innovation, we would like to hear from you, contact john.grieve@enrd.eu.
