EUMOFA Use Case – ANFACO-CECOPESCA

This use case provides some relevant applications of EUMOFA data. It aims to highlight the added value derived from the use of figures available in the EUMOFA database for analysing market dynamics, making business decisions, and developing policies. Anfaco-Cecopesca uses EUMOFA reports to support advocacy, inform members, and enhance research. They rely on EUMOFA data, such as the EU Fish Market report and species price analyses, to stay updated on market trends. This data is used in presentations to defend members’ interests in global conferences and meetings. Anfaco also integrates EUMOFA data into R&D projects, like the GAIN Horizon 2020 project, to improve market transparency. With an upcoming website update, Anfaco plans to use EUMOFA's raw data more frequently in the future.
