This month’s issue analyses first sales of Northern pike in Estonia, the Netherlands and Sweden and common carp in France, the Netherlands and Spain. Over the 36-month observation period (June 2021 to May 2024), the weighted average first-sales price of Northern pike in Sweden was 2,34 EUR/kg, which was 22% higher than in Estonia (1,92 EUR/kg).

During the same period, the weighted average first-sales price of common carp in France was 2,37 EUR/kg, which was twice higher than in Spain (1,18 EUR/kg.) Case studies of this month are: “Fisheries and Aquaculture in the United States” and “Flatfish species in the EU – recent trends”.
