NCC-NL: New Cybersecurity Funding Portal makes finding grants easier

NCC-NL | NEXIS has launched a Cybersecurity Funding Portal that consolidates information on Dutch and European grants for cybersecurity innovation. The portal helps Dutch entrepreneurs, governmental organisations as well as knowledge and research institutions quickly and easily find the right grants for their innovation projects.

date:  17/10/2024

The portal was developed together with dcypher and is hosted on the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) website.

More time for innovation
"Many Dutch entrepreneurs struggle to navigate the overwhelming number of cybersecurity innovation grants available across regional, national, and European levels. Finding the right funding takes time and can be quite challenging. The new portal offers a streamlined solution, helping businesses focus on what truly matters: driving innovation and growing their ventures," says Folkwin Poelman, Program Coordinator, NCC-NL | NEXIS.

Handy Filters
The portal provides an overview of Dutch and European grants for cybersecurity innovation. With handy filters, users spend less time searching through numerous subsidies and can instantly see which ones fit their project, along with details on budgets, deadlines and conditions.

Korstiaan Stam, Founder of Invictus Incident Response, said: “Finding the right funding is an art, especially if you’ve never done it before. That’s why it’s important to understand the conditions, so you know right away if a grant is worth pursuing.”

Personalised assistance
In addition to information on funding, entrepreneurs can rely on personal assistance from specialised advisors. These experts help them find the right funding, help clarify grant conditions and provide insights into the application process. Users can submit their inquiries through a contact form on the website.

Dennis Schouten, Founder of Chunk Works, explained: “Finding suitable funding can be quite challenging. There are so many different grants available. An advisor can better assess whether we meet the grant criteria and it’s helpful to have someone to discuss this with.”
