In 2023, the NCC NL NEXIS and the Dutch dcypher platform have taken the initiative to organise a European themed side event to the RSA Conference (annual international conference series on IT security), held at San Francisco on 24 April 2023.

In close coordination with the NCC network, we thus aim to increase the European footprint of innovative cybersecurity organisations and their government representatives at the RSAC, the largest cybersecurity event in the world. To those NCC colleagues that are planning on at tending RSAC, you are naturally most cordially invited to attend this special Euro night policy event, as well as other national research institutes or public private organisations
in your delegations for which this would be relevant.

This inaugural yearyear’s topic will be Bridging the gap of innovation investment. Kicking off with a thematic pitch from senior European and US government officials, we will aim our discussion towards sharing ideas and good practices on our (supra)national approaches, in partic ular the cultural differences around public grants and private investment opportunities. With special attention to the needs of the European cybersecurity organisations, to let their innovative products and services grow and mature. We are currently in pre paration of the event with pitches from key stakeholders on innovation investment and an interactive setting for the policy discussion, for which a brief will be circulated in advance.

To accommodate your busy schedules, we will be offering you a light dinner during the discussions, and have co-located with the ECSO investor drinks reception in the Hotel VIA, that will commence directly after we wrap up. All those registered at our event are also invited to attend this reception one of the main staples of the week! by our friends from ECSO, so we can close the day in style and leave a lasting European footprint on the RSAC.
