This specific title of this conference is 'Local Dimension of Children’s Migrations and its Impact on EU Integration Policy'. It is the second international conference organised as part of the MiCREATE project in Poland.
The conference will be divided into seven thematic panels, considering the following issues:
- Integration problems and challenges from migrant children’s perspectives;
- Best practices in the integration and education of migrant children;
- The impact of COVID-19 national and supranational restrictions on the education of migrant children;
- The well-being and social situation of refugee children and children seeking asylum.
Focus will be upon child-centered approaches in recent migration studies and innovations in education that can stimulate the effective integration of migrant children or children in transition, including distance learning (in the context of a pandemic) and ways to adapt children to a new environment.
The conference will be held in English. Participants will receive a Zoom link after registration (register here).
