Call for Information on Environmental risks and indirect health effects of mercury in dental amalgam

The Scientific Committee on Health and Environmental Risks has received a request for a scientific opinion on the environmental risks and indirect health effects of mercury in dental amalgam.

Interested parties are invited to submit:
1) Scientific peer reviewed research papers and reviews (later than 1990) on this issue.
2) Scientific data on safety evaluation of dental amalgams and alternatives
3) Other publicly available credible scientific information that may not be easily available and which is directly relevant to this issue.
4) Information on trends in the clinical usage of dental amalgam and alternatives.

All information is considered public unless otherwise stated by the provider.
