Aprila 2013 so v Luxembourgu imenovali nove člane Znanstvenega odbora za nastajajoča in na novo ugotovljena zdravstvena tveganja (ZONNUZT) za obdobje 2013–2016.
Člane odbora kot neodvisne strokovnjake prek javnega razpisa izbere Evropska komisija na podlagi njihovega izjemnega znanstvenega znanja. Pomembno je tudi, da pri njih ne obstaja navzkrižje interesov, sicer ne morejo kandidirati za ta položaj. Poleg pisne izjave o morebitnem navzkrižju interesov v času imenovanja morajo člani in zunanji strokovnjaki, ki delajo za odbor, tudi vsako leto znova podati pisno izjavo o odsotnosti navzkrižja

On 23 June 2013, the SCHER approved this preliminary opinion followed by an open consultation and a public hearing on the 6th of November. The SCHER will finalise the opinion taking into consideration the specific comments and suggestions.
