Innovation Radar Prize 2019 – the Jury

The 12 finalists who emerge from the public voting stage of the Innovation Radar Prize 2019 will get to pitch their innovations and their plans to get them 'out of the lab and into the market' to a jury composed of a panel of investors and entrepreneurs. This "Innovation Radar pitching session" will take place on 25th of September 2019 at the Research and Innovation Days event in Brussels.

Thirty-six of the most promising EU-funded innovators identified by the Innovation Radar are competing to secure a place at the final where they will be able to pitch their innovation to the jury. It is the public vote (open until 26 August 2019) that will decide which 12 finalists (3 from each category) will deliver a 3 minute pitch about their innovation, organisation and future plans to make their EU funded innovation deliver impact in the market place.

The five members of the jury, a panel made of professionals with a track record in entrepreneurship, investment (e.g. Business Angels, or VCs) or experience in start-up accelerator communities are:

Their task is to award the Innovation Radar prize for the most impressive pitch in each of the 4 categories (Industrial & Enabling Tech, Innovative Science, Tech for Society and Women-led Innovations). They will also choose the winner of the 2019 Innovation Radar "Grand Prix" Prize. The winners will be announced on the 26th September in a special award ceremony on the closing day of the Research and Innovation Days event in Brussels..
