The conference will analyse both obstacles to and success factors for effective cooperation and investment in healthcare sector. Good practices and practical tools will be also discussed.

The event, jointly organised by DG SANTE and DG REGIO, will provide opportunity to meet relevant institutions and stakeholders.

Bonjour,

Je suis Ousmane Ndiaye, Docteur en sociologie de la santé. Je participe au programme ProspectSsaso-Poctefa piloté par l'Université de Perpignan. Je coordonne une recherche sur les "Effets frontières et parcours de soins et de santé en Cerdagne". J'imagine que vous connaissez bien l'hôpital transfrontalier de Cerdagne dans les Pyrénéens.

Je me suis inscrit pour participer à la rencontre du 4 décembre à Bruxelles. 

J'ai une petite question avant de faire mes réservation (hôtel et vol). 

Est-ce que après l'inscription nous devons recevoir un mail de confirmation ?

Hello,

My name is Saskia Wegner, I work at the Heart Centre in Saarland, where I'm one of the people responsible for the Franco-German inter-hospital cardiology partnership projet between Forbach and Völklingen. This partnership is one of the seven experiences of cross-border cooperation on health presented in the study "European Cross-Border Cooperation on Health : Theory and practice", 2017. This year we have celebrated the fifth anniversary of this crossboarder partnership. Therefore I'm very interested in this seminar. Are there already further information concerning the content of the seminar?

Je suis Saskia Wegner et je travaille au Centre cardiologique de Sarre. En tant que chargée de coopération transfrontalière, j'accompagne la mise en oeuvre de la convention de coopération transfrontalière en matière de cardiologie qui a fêté cette année son 5ème anniversaire. Ce partenariat est un des sept exemples d'expériences en matière de coopération transfrontalière sanitaire cité dans la publication "La coopération transfrontalière dans le domaine de la santé : principes et pratiques", 2017. Ainsi, je suis intéressée par ce semainare se déroulant en décembre 2018. Y a-t'il déjà plus d'information concernant le programme et le déroulement (horaires) de la journée ?

Dear Saskia,

many thanks for your interest. The conference website for registration will be soon published in Futurium and other European Commission websites. The conference will cover the full day on the 4th december, from 9 am to 6pm and will present plenary sessions in the morning to present  the results of the study on cross border healthcare (published in Futurium in the library) and discuss current concerns on the topics. During the afternoon will take place  3 parallel worskhops to present some practical cases of cross border cooperation across Europe. In the last plenary session we will discuss about the future perspectives.

It's important to have relevant experiences and stakeholders participating to the debate, so I hope you will be able to attend. Stay tuned, we will publish soon all details!
