I am Georgia Bafoutsou and work in ENISA since March 2020, as a seconded national expert, involved in ENISA's telecommunication security related activities. I am working with National Competent Authorities for electronic communication security, incident notification and also with National Cybersecurity Authorities dealing with development in the security of 5G.
I have a strong background in security of electronic communications, working for the last 13 years in the Hellenic Authority for Communications Security and Privacy, investigating security incidents on providers’ networks, auditing the implementation of proposed security measures and promoting security best practices in the telecom sector and also the general public.

Martina has an academic background in political science and criminology and strong professional experience in cybersecurity.
She has been with KPMG for almost four years, where she combines her legal and information risk background with Security practical experience, connecting these two spheres in a holistic, creative, and professional way thanks to a strong commitment to data protection matters and fascination with cybercrime and cybersecurity.
She has strong knowledge about European regulatory framework, such as the Cybersecurity Act, NIS Directive, Data Protection law, the EU Telecoms Package,
OT security standards and IT security standard.
She is highly motivated, innovative, and forward-looking.
She has been working on several projects related to Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and Privacy management, providing legal and technical support to the financial, energy, and healthcare sectors.
Notably, she has been fully involved in the development and implementation of NIS compliance advisory approach, supporting at strategical and tactical level critical infrastructures. Therefore, she gained a strong knowledge of OT security, developing a holistic approach to tackle cybersecurity issues. In particular, she has been engaged in the deployment of projects in the field of energy, air transport, water, and health

With a degree in Mathematics, I join the Information Technology world in 1997. I started working in Digital Signature and PKI environment and after a while I moved on IAM technologies and Multi Factor Authentication platforms.
Starting from 2012 I specialized in Antifraud systems specially for On Line Banking Systems.
