Glossary:R & D intramural expenditure
Intramural expenditures is all the expenditure on R & D within a statistical unit or economic sector, whatever the source of funds. Also included is money spent outside the unit or sector but in support of intramural R & D (for example, purchase of supplies for R & D). Both current and capital expenditures are included.
