Main statistical findings

This article takes a look at most recent statistics (2010 figures) on the quantities of electricity that has been produced at EU27 level and at the EU27 Member States plus

some EFTA and EU candidate countries. Figures are based on provisionnal accumulated monthly data. In 2010 the generation of electricity in EU27 increased with 3.6% compared to 2009, but it is still below the production peak from 2008.
