Internet use is the number of people accessing the Internet, usually expressed as a proportion of the population. An internet user is defined as a person who has used the Internet within the last three months. A regular user of the Internet is defined as someone who has used the Internet at least once a week within the reference period of the survey (the first three months of the calendar year), regardless of where they do so.
