Besides the quality reporting based on Regulation (EC) 1099/2008, HEA is involved in the regular European Statistical System peer review. Also, based on the Act CLV. of 2016 on Official Statistics HEA undergoes an accreditation process for a membership of the Hungarian Official Statistical Service.

Also, HEA administrative questionnaires are regularly revised by amending the respective regulation according to new data needs.
