The following dataset is collected under this framework:
- Single Permits issued by type of decision, reason and length of validity (migr_ressing)
Directive 2011/98/EU was transposed at national level on [27 June 2013].

6.1. Institutional Mandate - legal acts and other agreements
Data collection on the residence permits (RESPER) statistics contains statistical information based on the principles stated in the Union legislation on migration Regulation (EC) No 862/2007 as amended by the Regulation (EU) 2020/851 and the Commission Regulation (EU) No 216/2010 implementing the categories of reasons for residence permits.
Legal national framework relevant for Single Permits statistics:

Single Permits statistics in Croatia are mainly based on administrative sources. Republic of Croatia is following the requirements of the Regulation (EC) 862/2007 and the quality of the data may be assessed as Very good.
The data relevance can be assessed as Very good according to frequent informal and formal communication and feedback from users.

Produced statistics are regularly used by national administrations, academic researchers and civil society groups working on a wide range of topics including the integration of immigrants, the development and monitoring of national immigration procedures, and the projection of the future population and labour force.
At European level, the main users of these statistics are regularly Eurostat and DG Migration and Home Affairs. These statistics are used in several publications of the Commission, as well as in the preparation of regular reports, policy proposals and analysis. The statistics also provide an input to the European Migration Network (EMN) studies and reports that address specific issues of current policy importance.

The Service for Aliens matters within the Directorate for Immigration, Citizenship and Administrative Affairs in cooperation with the IT Sector of the Ministry of the Interior gather data.
Relevant data are extracted from the information system of the Ministry of the Interior, which is an on-line database (not static database) and are filled in Excel templates provided by Eurostat.
The results within the tables are validated and converted into a CSV-SDMX compatible format.
