Enforcement of immigration legislation data (EIL statistics) contain statistical information based on Article 5 and 7 of the Regulation (EC) No 862/2007 as amended by the Regulation (EU) 2020/851 with reference to third-country nationals:

- returned following an order to leave.

6.1. Institutional Mandate - legal acts and other agreements
The State Border Guard prepares official European statistics, which are submitted to the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat, which publishes high-quality European-wide statistical data and indicators that allow comparisons between countries and regions.
The State Border Guard shall annually (until 31 March of the current year) prepare and submit to Eurostat the following statistics in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 862/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 July 2007 on Community statistics on migration and international protection and repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No. 311/76 on the collection of statistics on foreign workers (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation) (Articles 5 and 7).
Article 5 of the Regulation - Member States shall submit to the Commission (Eurostat) statistics on: the number of third-country nationals refused entry to the territory of a Member State at the external border;
The number of third-country nationals staying illegally in the territory of a Member State in accordance with national immigration laws (Statistical data, broken down by age and sex and by nationality of the persons concerned).
Article 7 of the Regulation the number of third-country nationals staying illegally in a Member State and in respect of whom an administrative or judicial decision or act has been taken stating or declaring that their stay is illegal and that they must leave the territory of a Member State, with a breakdown of these data by nationality of the persons concerned;

6.2. Institutional Mandate - data sharing
Data sharing and submission to the Central Statistical Office is stipulated in the Statistics Law, and the person responsible for providing data from the State Border Guard to the Central Statistical Office is the Analytical Department of the Operational Management Department of the State Border Guard.
