Data contains the Standard Output Coefficients 2020 (SOC) for agricultural products, crops and livestock which are produced in Finland. Coefficients are calculated regionally by 19 FADN regions for each product. The coefficient is a value eur per hectare or eur per animal slaugter value per year. The calculation is based on 5-year averages on production and producer price statistics.

See the subtitles below.

For crop products the statistical unit is euro per hectare and for livestock euro per animal per year. The observation unit is yield (tonne/hectar), meat production, euro per tonne/kg and euro per 100 kg slauhgter value.

Annual production of crops and animals in whole Finland. Calculation of SO-coefficients is based on crop production statistics, animal production statistics and producer price statistics.

Standard Output Coefficients are calculated regionally. In Finland there arre 19 FADN regions.

SOC values cover years 2018-2022, weighted average of five years

The SOC values are euro per hectare of crop product, euro per animal per year of livestock. The calculation is made using crop production statistics ton/hectare and slaughter statistics (number of animals). Producer prices are euro per tonne or euro per 100 kg carcass weight.

Not requested for this reference year.

Data needed for compiling SO- values are collected by Luke via several statistical surveys.

  • Crop production statics;
  • Production of horticulral crops;
  • Meat production statistis;
  • Milk production statistics;
  • Egg production statistics;
  • Producer price statistics;
  • All of them are available at Luke's statistical portal;
  • Data on some minor products is collected from advisors and experts.

The data are disseminated toEurostat at national level every 3-4 years.

SOC- efficients are reported to Eurostat by the end of following year of which the reference period ends (n+1)

The SO-coefficients are comparable between regions.

SO-coefficients are comparable between years/perioid of calculation.
