Enrolment Age structrure of children in pre-primary education at the end of year (related to demography) ISCED 0 1995–2015 internal to UOE population-based Questionnaire on kindergartens (annual administrative data collection) Data are collected by age, but the reference date is 30th September of the given year. Reference date for age structure of population is 31st December. We assume that 2/3 of children remain in the age reported in the questionnaire (they have birthday between 1st January and 30th September of the given year), 1/3 is moved to the one-year-older group (they have birthday between 1st October and 31st December).
Enrolment Gender structure of enrolled pupils ISCED 0, 1, 2, 3 1995–2015 internal to UOE population-based Questionnaires on school´s directorates no breakdown by gender in some type of programmes Breakdown is made through the share of men and women in the population in age which is typical for the affected programmes. Maximum of 5 % of gender breakdown is estimated at each reported ISCED level.
Enrolment Age structure of enrolled pupils ISCED 1, 2, 3 1995–2015 internal to UOE population-based Questionnaires on school´s directorates no breakdown by age in some type of programmes The known age structure in similar programmes is applied. Maximum of 2 % of age breakdown is estimated at each reported ISCED level.
Entrants Age structure of enrolled pupils ISCED 1, 2, 3 1995–2015 internal to UOE population-based Questionnaires on school´s directorates no breakdown by age in some type of programmes The known age structure in similar programmes is applied. Maximum of 2 % of age breakdown is estimated at each reported ISCED level.
Regio Age structure of enrolled children / pupils / students ISCED 0, 1, 2, 3 1995–2015 internal to UOE population-based Questionnaires on school´s directorates; Questionnaire on kindergartens no breakdown by age and regions in some type of programmes Age structure for whole Czech Republic is divided into regions through appropriate number of children / pupils / students. Maximum of 5 % of age structure is estimated at each reported ISCED level.

8. Coherence and comparability Top
8.1. Comparability - geographical

A. Deviations between the national methodology and the UOE Manual: non financial data

Reference period Data collection period Reference date for student and personnel ages

Enrolment: data collection period Enrolment in multiple fields of education Count of students: if relevant, detailed list of variables for which double counting are significant and why. Regional enrolment Foreign languages learning
Students are counted only in one field of education eventhough they studied in multiple fields. The reason is that in the Czech Republic students can study in two (or more) independent programmes and it is not possible to classify them proportionally.     Students with special education needs are included into tables - we aren't able to separate them.
