Main Themes of Strategy:
The Limesregion action area lies on the north-eastern side of Baden-Württemberg in the administrative district of Stuttgart. The action area stretches over an area of 1418 square kilometres and is assembled from 39 communities belong to the district of Heilbronn, Hohenlohe, Rems-Murr and of Schwäbisch Hall with 174,669 native inhabitants (123.17 inhabitants/km²). It assembles itself from 39 communities and stretches over an area of 1.418 km². There are 174,669 native inhabitants (123.17 inhabitants/ km²). The areas of 4 action for the Limes region as defined in the regional development concept (RDC) are: - Village attractiveness and strengthening the Economy Support for actions those add to aesthetic improvement of the location and living environments, as well as village renovations and village development. Support for actions that lead to strengthening the local economy and services in the rural communities. In the area “Service Support” can support small to mid-sized businesses. - Landscape Tourism, Local recreation and Culture Support for investments and conceptual actions for the preservation, care and evaluation of regional and more locally significant, cultural and natural features. - Strengthened Use of Regional Resources and co operations between communities Support for actions that take advantage of local and regional resources resulting in rural employment and development opportunities. - Land Use, Preservation, and Future Development of the Cultural Landscape Support for actions that serve the habitat and species protections, the promotion of nature preservation, landscape care, and the land culture as well as the protection and preservation of the environment
