Good Practice Workshops

Good Practice Workshop on High Nature Value farmland and forestry - Edinburgh, Scotland – 20 February 2012

There are three HNV indicators in the Common Monitoring and Evaluation Framework (CMEF) to monitor the progress in HNV Farmland and Forestry. While the CMEF does not prescribe a specific method for the assessment, programme authorities are asked to assess the extent and condition of HNV farmland within the RDP area, using the best data available to them and their own choice of appropriate methods and subsidiary indicators.

To learn about approaches that have been used for the HNV indicator, identify good practices from the Member States and draw lessons for the future of the indicator, a workshop was organised by the Evaluation Helpdesk on 20 February 2012.
