SPRING-project is to find ways increasing awareness of equality regardless of age, gender, education, place of residence and ethnic origin or background. The aim is to broaden the FRC´s container concept and have professionals, volunteers and trainers working together. This offers a platform to work against social exclusion and find concrete ways of creating work opportunities, training and voluntary activities. New pathways to real employment will be built and support given to the target group in social interaction and market networks. They will have the opportunity to develop or improve their vocational skills and abilities. .
"KONTTI" offers an excellent environment for skill practicing, learning by doing and voluntary activities in real working situations. Support and encourage education/training according to the needs of the target group, the individuals (e.g. in language and communication skills), and to exploit social interaction /network. Employers will provide training thereby giving assurance of their readiness to hire individuals based on their skills, accept and treat people equally. The FRC´s employment project lays the foundation and the SPRING- project supports and complements. Through transnationality Finland will benefit from the transfer of know-how and good practices.
