The goal of this project is to develop a regional model of education and
training to guarantee a place of study for every young person finishing
basic education. Also project will seek new ways to reduce the number of
students who drop from their studies and to help students in transition
from school to working llife.
The objective of the project is to develop a regional model of education
and training to guarantee a place of study for every young person
finishing his/her basic education. The model is based on
multi-vocational guidance and support, flexible co-operation in working
life, support to educational responsibility as well as enhancing the
students' life management and increasing their experiences from working
life.
To reach the objective, new methods of issuing and receiving information
as well as guidance and support practises will be introduced during the
project. New models and good practices encourage young people to seek
education and training, as well as reducing the number of students who
drop from their studies, and enhancing the opportunities for employment.

New models and good practices encourage young people to seek education
and training, as well as reducing the number of students who interrupt
their studies, and enhancing the opportunities for employment.
The project provides a model of guidance services for parents. The model
includes, for example, forming special groups for parents who need
support for their parenthood.

Empowerment between partners includes share of information about new
models, good practices and innovations. Furthermore, partners will
create a regional network which will help empowerment of target group in
both regions (Turku and Salo) involved in project.

The objective of transnational activities is to develope new methods and
models to guarantee a place of study for every young person after basic
education, to help young people in their transition from school to
working life and to exchange information and experience between
transnational partners.

Turku Vocational Institute is one of the biggest upper-secondary
vocational schools in Finland with 1400 new admissions. Each year about
1000 students from upper-secondary level and from adult training
complete their studies.
The Institute has three education profit areas, i.e. Business, Economics
and Catering Services, Technology and Health and Welfare. In addition
there is a fourth profit area which is Administration and Development.
The institute function in nine different locations in Turku.

Projektin tavoitteena on kehittää alueellinen koulutustakuumalli, jonka
avulla voidaan taata opiskelupaikka jokaiselle perusopetuksen
päättävälle nuorelle. Uusien mallien ja käytäntöjen avulla pyritään myös
vähentämään koulutusten keskeyttämisiä sekä helpottamaan siirtymistä
koulusta työelämään.
Projektin tavoitteena on kehittää alueellinen koulutustakuumalli, jonka
avulla voidaan taata opiskelupaikka jokaiselle perusopetuksen
päättävälle nuorelle. Malli perustuu moniammatillisiin ohjaus- ja
tukitoimiin, joustavaan työelämäyhteistyöhön, kasvatusvastuun tukemiseen
sekä oppilaiden elämänhallinnan ja työelämäkokemusten lisäämiseen.
Tavoitteiden saavuttamiseksi projektin aikana otetaan käyttöön uusia
tiedotuksen ja tiedonsaannin menetelmiä sekä ohjaus- ja
tukipalvelukäytäntöjä. Uudet mallit ja hyvät käytännöt edistävät
koulutukseen hakeutumista, koulutuksen keskeyttämisen vähenemistä sekä
työllistymistä koulutuksen jälkeen. Samalla edistetään ilman
koulutuspaikkaa olevien nuorten ja avointen koulutuspaikkojen
kohtaamista.
Projektin keskeiset innovaatiot ovat:
- koulutustakuumallin kehittäminen
- moniammatillisten toisen asteen opiskelijoiden ohjauspisteiden
perustaminen
- huoltajille tarjottavat ohjauspalvelut
- mukautetun perusopetuksen kehittämiskeskuksen perustaminen
- alueellisen yhteistyöverkoston perustaminen
- toimintaluokkajärjestelmän perustaminen
- työelämän, koulun ja kdin yhdistävän yhteistyöfoorumin perustaminen
- muut ohjaukseen ja nivelvaiheyhteistyöhön liittyvät uudet mallit ja
käytännöt
Kansainvälisen yhteistyön tavoitteena on luoda kansainvälisen yhteistyön
avulla uusia malleja ja hyviä käytäntöjä, joiden avulla voidaan tarjota
opiskelupaikka jokaiselle perusasteen päättävälle nuorelle, tukea
nuorten siirtymistä toisen asteen koulutuksesta työelämään sekä jakaa
tietoa ja kokemuksia kansainvälisesten kumppanuushankkeiden kesken.
Uudet mallit ja hyvät käytännöt rohkaisevat nuoria jatko-opintoihin,
vähentävät koulutusten keskeyttämisiä sekä helpottavat heidän
siirtymistään koulusta työelämään. Projektin innovaatiot tukevta myös
vanhempia, jotka tarvitsevat tukea vanhemmuuteensa.
Projektin aikana luotava alueellinen yhteistyöverkosto edistää sekin
kohderyhmän valtaistamista.
