OpinTielta TyoElamaan (OTTE) ascii version

All the key actors have been involved in the project since the planning stage. The project will have a significant regional effect in the prevention of exclusion and in the securing of equal training opportunities and access of employment for the special target groups. The model emerging as a result of the project will be useful not only for the region but also for the whole of Lapland and it can also be utilised in cross-border cooperation. The project will develop cooperation not only inside the administrative field, but also across different administrative fields as well as multiprofessionally. The project aims fit well with those of the existing organisations and the teacher training which promotes a permanent change. The transnational actions of the project will - especially cross-border cooperation - will bring added value to the project.

Objective

The main goal of the project is to create a comprehensive system through which would help also the young people excluded or at risk of exclusion to obtain a certificate or adequate professional skills and support to gain access to the labour market. The training provider will create a network with other actors supporting the young people, develop teaching methods and learning environment and improve the trainers' professional skills in such a way that learning will highlight communality and activity. Learning will thus be organised in such a way that the young people will also get positive learning experiences. The support system which will be in place during the training will prevent young people from dropping off; work placement will also be supported through special measures.
The project aims to anticipate the creation of problems and to have influence on key problems at a very early stage before exclusion occurs.

OpinTielta TyoElamaan (OTTE)

Rationale

Hankkeessa on koottu keskeiset toimijat hankkeen suunnitteluvaiheesta lähtien kehittämistyöhön ja onnistuessaan hankkeen alueellinen vaikutus syrjäytymisen ehkäisemisessä ja erityisryhmien tasa-arvoisten koulutusmahdollisuuksien ja työelämään pääsyn turvaamisessa on merkittävä. Tuloksena syntyvä malli hyödyttää seutukunnan lisäksi koko Lappia sekä on hyödynnettävissä myös rajat ylittävässä yhteistyössä. Hankkeessa kehitetään yhteistyötä paitsi hallinnonalan sisällä, myös poikkihallinnollisesti ja moniammatillisesti. Hankkeen niveltyminen olemassaolevien organisaatioiden toimintaan sekä opettajien koulutus edistävät pysyvän muutoksen aikaansaamista. Hankkeessa suunniteltu kansainvälinen toiminta, erityisesti rajan yli tapahtuva yhteistyö, tuo selkeätä lisäarvoa hankkeelle.

Objective

Hankkeen päätavoitteena on luoda kokonaisvaltainen järjestelmä, jonka avulla myös syrjäytyneet ja syrjäytymisvaarassa olevat nuoret saavat tutkinnon tai edellytyksiään vastaavan ammattitaidon ja tukea työmarkkinoille siirtymiseen. Koulutuksenjärjestäjä verkostoituu eri nuorten elämää tukevien toimijoiden kanssa, kehittää opetusmenetelmät ja oppimisympäristön sekä opettajien ammattitaidon sellaiseksi, että oppimisessa korostetaan yhteisöllisyyttä ja toiminnallisuutta sekä tuotetaan positiivisia oppimiskokemuksia. Koulutuksen aikaisella tukijärjestelmällä ehkäistään putoaminen koulutuksen ulkopuolelle ja työhönsijoittumista tuetaan erityistoimenpiteillä.
Hankkeessa pyritään ennakoimaan ongelmien syntymistä ja vaikuttamaan keskeisiin ongelmiin hyvin aikaisessa vaiheessa, ennen kuin syrjäytymistä ehtii tapahtua.
