VICTORY, Personal and Virtual Rehabilitation for IT-Employment ascii version

The project is based on existing demand of employees in the IT field and at the same time the IT tasks provided by the project offer new opportunities for handicapped people. The project aima at utilising the possibilities of IT work in the employment of handicapped and disabled people. The project has been systematically designed and aims at creating operational models in the field of rehabilitation which could be mainstreamed on a wider basis.

Objective

The overall objective is to develop models of IT work rehabilitation and coaching and of rehabilitating IT work with all the necessary aids and methods. These models will take into account the needs of the people in the most vulnerable labour market situation and they will promote access to the open labour market.
As regards rehabilitation the objective is to create a rehabilitation model which takes into account IT work. The model will also provide skills mapping which recognizes IT work. The model will promote IT work rehabilitation and coaching both in everyday life and in working life, IT work practice and support for IT work,mentoring and a monitoring model for advancement.
With regard to rehabilitating work the objective is to create a workshop model of IT work for everyday and professional work . The aim is also to create a network of IT work rehabilitation and the workshop rehabilitation leading to work.

VICTORY, Personal and Virtual Rehabilitation for IT-Employment

Rationale

Hanke pohjaa olemassa olevalle kysynnälle tietotekniikan työntekijöistä, samalla ko. tehtävät tarjoavat uusia mahdollisuuksia esim. liikuntavammaisille. Projekti tähtää tietotyön mahdollisuuksien hyödyntämiseen vammaisten ja vajaakuntoisten työllistämisessä. Rakennettu systemaattisesti ja tavoittelee yleistettäviä toimintamalleja kuntoutuksen alalla.

Objective

Kokonaistavoitteena on kehittää heikoimmassa työmarkkina-asemassa olevien henkilöiden tarpeet huomioiva, avoimille työmarkkinoille johtava, tietotyökuntoutuksen ja –valmennuksen sekä kuntouttavan tietotyötoiminnan toimintamallit menetelmineen ja apuvälineineen.
Kuntoutuksen osalta tavoitteena on tietotyön huomioiva kuntoutusmalli, jossa ovat mukana tietotyön tunnistava työkykykartoitus, arki- ja/tai työelämän tietotyön kuntoutus ja valmennus, tietotyöharjoittelun ja tietotyön tuki, mentorointi ja etenemisen seurantamalli.
Kuntouttavan työhön valmennuksen osalta tavoitteena on tietotyön pajamallit arki- ja ammattityölle sekä tietotyökuntoutuksen ja työhön valmentavan pajakuntoutuksen ketjuttaminen.
