The two-day event in Budapest aims to acknowledge the problems of urban slums and the role of cities in tackling them. Solutions to these problems will be shared. With an eye on the other in-depth seminars taking place as part of the European Year 2010, this event will assess the area-based attributes of the other thematic areas.
Recommendations will be proposed for national and international policy makers, to be contributed to the EUROCITIES key messages paper to be submitted to the EU institutions in Autumn 2010.
