Title (in English): 
The Internet of Things system for the diagnosis of conditionally pathogenic bacteria, monitoring and limiting the use of antibiotics
Objective of the project (native language): 

Projekta mērķis ir izstrādāt Lietu Interneta (turpmāk - LI) sistēmu, kas izmantos jaunāko Bluetooth tehnoloģiju un mākslīgajā intelektā balstītus algoritmus, lai analizētu zemas frekvences biosignālu spektru piena ražošanas dzīvniekiem (govīm, kazām un aitām), nosacīti patogēno baktēriju diagnostikai.

Objective of the project (in English): 

The aim of the project is to develop an Internet of Things (hereinafter - IoT) system that will use the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology and algorithms based on artificial intelligence to analyze the spectrum of low-frequency biosignals from dairy animals (cows, goats and sheep) for the diagnosis of conditionally pathogenic bacteria.

Description of activities (native language): 

1. LI sistēmas elektronikas komponenšu un bāzes programmas elementu izstrāde Latvijas Universitātes Cietvielu Fizikas Institūta laboratorijā, sistēmas programmatūras izstrāde.

2. Datu savākšana fermās mākslīgā intelekta algoritmu apmācībai un piena paraugu noņemšana. Daudzreizēja LI sistēmas elektronikas un programmatūras testēšana piena ražošanas saimniecībās.

3. LI sistēmas testēšana fermās un atgriezeniskās saites saņemšana. Datu apstrāde un  analīze.

4. Publicitātes nodrošināšana EIP grupā un ārpus tās, zinātniskā raksta gatavošana un iesniegšana.

Description of activities (in English): 

Development of IoT system electronic components and base program elements in the laboratory of Latvian University Institute of Solid State Physics; development of system software.
Data collection in farms for artificial intelligence algorithm training sampling of milk. Multiple testing of IoT system electronics and software in dairy farms.
Testing the IoT system on farms and receiving feedback. Data processing and analysis.
Ensuring publicity within the EIP group and beyond, preparing and submitting a scientific article.
