On 7-8 October 2020, the European Commission and the EIP-AGRI Service Point are organising the EIP-AGRI seminar 'Healthy soils for Europe: sustainable management through knowledge and practice' in Setubal, Portugal. The event will be organised in cooperation with the Portuguese General Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Anyone involved in sustainable soil management practices to maintain soil health, is invited to apply: farmers, foresters, researchers and others involved in Operational Group projects, Horizon 2020 research projects or other innovative projects, innovation support services, advisers working on solutions to enhance soil health, EU regions and Member States.
Please note that, given the limited number of available seats, we cannot accommodate all requests for participation.
In most cases we can offer only one seat per project/organisation. However, the participation of farmers is strongly encouraged; therefore a second participant per organisation/project can be exceptionally accepted if at least one of them is a farmer.
The organisers will assess all applications received, and will confirm your attendance, approximately by the week of 29 June. Please do not make any reservations until you have received a confirmation email.
Travel and accommodation:
For the selected participants, travel and accommodation (hotel) costs may be covered by the European Commission. However, please note, that travel and accommodation is not automatically provided. If you/your organistion is unable to cover these costs, please indicate it in the application form.
