Victor Van Vuuren has served as the Director of the Enterprises Department at the International Labour Organization (ILO) since 2016. Prior to that, Victor was the ILO’s Director for Southern and Eastern Africa.
Victor also serves as the chairman of the UNTFSSE (United Nations Task Force of the Social and Solidarity Economy), a member of the Capitals Coalition Supervisory Board and a member of the COP26 Energy Transition Council. He is a founding member of the Geneva Innovation Movement Association.
After completing a law degree Victor began his career at the South African Department of Justice. He then moved to the private sector as a legal advisor and human resources director at executive level in large corporations.
