FEDERICO IANNELLA
Hi everybody, I am Federico Iannella, the project manager of the eInvoicing research group at Politecnico di Milano. Our Digital B2b Observatory has been studying this topic for 21 years, and we have been an important partner of the Italian Tax Authority for the introduction of the B2g and B2b obligation in our country.
Our goal now is to share with all European countries the information, lessons learned and best practices gathered from Italy as first mover. I saw your recent updates on this platform regarding the different models of eInvoicing in Europe, and I would like to share the results of our activities, to join forces in mapping the different existing eInvoicing models and analyzing their future evolution.
Looking forward your thoughts on this!

Dear Federico. Thank you very much for reaching out to us! We highly appreciate your interest.
We are currently working on multiple workstreams; and, indeed, it would be great to hear about your lessons learned and best practices gathered in Italy. Please feel free to share your results via email at our functional mailbox EC-DIGITAL-BUILDING-BLOCKS@ec.europa.eu. You can also provide some availability slots for later this week or next week, so I can schedule a call to discuss about possible future activities.
