Is there a way to test the sending and receiving of messages using the Domibus access point software (the one provided by CEF, v3.2.5) without involving third parties to participate?
I know that CEF offers the "AS4 Connectivity Test Procedure". owever, I would like to test our Domibus installation, initially, without exposing the access point over the Internet and without involving third party organisations. Is this possible?

Yes it is very possible. To do so, you may deploy two instances of Domibus on your private network and send messages between the instances.
For the signing and encryption, you could use the certificates provided within the sample configuration files (domibus-MSH-3.2.5-sample-configuration-and-testing.zip) provided in the nexus repository.
