In addition the baseline changes listed in the release announcement for Domibus 5.0.8, which are also present in this version, new features and improvements include an endpoint for refreshing DSS Trusted lists, accessible via a POST request. The version also brings new properties for the Quartz data source in Tomcat and renames various data sources in the WildFly configuration files. The self-sending mechanism has been enhanced, and a new property has been added security improvement allows users to disable the use of system default certificates (known as cacerts) when downloading Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) over HTTPS. The property name has been updated from domibus.cacerts.validation.enabled to domibus.cacerts.download.enabled. Ensure to update this property in your configuration files if it is used.

Domibus 5.1.4 is backward compatible with version 5.1.3, making the upgrade process smooth. Although not mandatory, upgrading is highly recommended to benefit from the latest fixes and improvements.

Security is a priority in this release. Users must update their application servers to the latest versions after installing any Domibus package labelled as "Full Distribution" to ensure system security.

There is an important
Note
titleImportant known
issue to note

Under certain conditions, : Domibus 5.1.4 creates an incorrect application address after login, appending /domibus to the address regardless of the source address. This affects applications that expose public endpoints handled by a reverse proxy which redirects to the hosts, where the main URL does not contain /domibus anywhere. For example, the user logs into the Domibus Admin Console, rendering the Admin Console unusable. This affects Domibus installations where the Admin Console is exposed through a URL that uses a different base context than /domibus. This can happen, e.g., when using a reverse proxy. In such cases, a user logging in via a URL such as https://intragate.test.ec.europa.eu/eusendmyapp/edelivery-admin/ redirects to [...] will be incorrectly redirected to https://intragate.test.ec.europa.eu/domibus/rest/application/name[...] which will not work. The impact is limited to the Domibus Admin Console, the rest of the application functions correctly.

The release date for Domibus 5.1.5, which is expected to address these issueswill address this issue, will be announced soon.
