This page collects the resources for Domibus version 5.0.9, released in June 2024.

Description

We are happy to announce the release of Domibus 5.0.9 sample implementation of the eDelivery Access Point.

The Domibus 5.0.9 includes the following bug fixes and performance improvements and we strongly recommend the update:

• Messages page:

• Setting a future Received from shows error on Received from and up to

• Propagate Connection Monitoring issue fix from 5.1.4

• Fix authentication-dss-extension.properties property description

• Fix Admin Console URL issue

• EULogin - Application is entering in a loop of requests in a second tab when the user logouts out from another tab

• "Only super admins can view or change global properties" error appears when domain admin logins

• EULOGIN: User/Admin is not able to change domains rest/security/user/domain return 403

• Harmonize the behaviour of weak passwords warnings.

• Investigate and fix OWASP vulnerabilities

• Add password complexity check for all domibus passwords and stop Domibus correctly

• Update Global Transaction configuration in WSLT scripts

• Date picker default time improvement??? UPDATE ????

Domibus 5.0.9 is backward compatible with 5.0.8 and the upgrade is not mandatory but highly recommended.

Supported platforms:

• Application servers:
  • WildFly 26.1.x
    Please be advised that WildFly will not be supported after Domibus 5.2, and it is best avoided for new installations. More details here.
  • WebLogic 12.2.1.4 (tested version, future versions might work)
  • Apache Tomcat 9.0.x
• Database:
  • MySQL 8 (future versions might work)
  • Oracle 12c R2 and Oracle 19c

• Java 8 features

  / compile with Oracle JDK 8:

  for compile, tested to run correctly with:

  • Oracle JDK 8 / for WebLogic
  • OpenJDK 11 / for WildFly + Tomcat (tested with AdoptOpenJDK 11 version 11.0.9.1+1)and Tomcat

Security Note 1: To ensure their system’s your setup’s security, users installing any of the Domibus packages labelled as “Full Distribution” have the responsibility to update the application servers to the latest version after the installation.

Migration from 5.0.8 to 5.0.9

For a detailed description of the Domibus upgrade procedure, click heresee the Domibus Upgrade Guides.

NOTE: A fix in the validation of the party roles may break the compatibility of the pModes for Access Points configured in PULL mode. Please check the upgrade info for the steps to be performed to integrate this change. A Domibus property is available to disable the roles validation. In case it is needed, we recommend to use it temporarily until the pMode is updated.
