>, which provides the legal and technical basis for the creation of
EU Digital Identity Wallets.

Implementing Acts, outlining the exact legally mandatory
specifications required for the wallets, are being published for
public consultation.
</p>

>Five were already published this Summer</a

for consultation, and have now been adopted by the Commission,
laying down rules for the core functionalities and certification of
the European Digital Identity Wallets under the European Digital
Identity Framework.

In addition, a new set of Implementing Acts have just been published
for consultation.

There are five new Implementing Acts, each addressing a specific
aspect of the Framework, detailing how EU Digital Identity Wallets
