Questions during the workshop

Question

Answers

Actions to be taken

Who are you?

Do you have a profile at CEF Digital?3 out of 45 has a profileInvite participants to use CEF Digital

Do you see other areas where trainings and webinars could be of interest?

N/A
Do public authorities have electronic workflow support for managing invoices? Not as such - payments and pre-award have been in place for some years but handling of invoices depends on the individual ministry/agency etc.
Which eInvoicing formats do you currently use?

The European standard requires a high level of information quality. Can this prove to be a challenge in your coming implementation?

Two formats - do you see this as an opportunity or challenge?

Is CEF eDelivery/PEPPOL relevant to you?Yes, highly relevant as eInvoicing does not go alone
Dont you believe it is a problem with the cross-border scenario if each country has its own standard and does not follow the - lets say the PEPPOL CIUS - where at least someone is coordinating the development?Yes, it is unfortunately one of the shortcomings of the CIUS. If all implements their own subset of the CIUS it will be a problem for the interoperability of eInvoicing in Europa.
Does this mean that you have to support the full standard to allow all suppliers across Europa to send their invoices?Yes, if you want 100% full coverage then you need to do that.
