Comment from service provider:
It is a challange for our auditors that they can't see the original image of the invoice (authenticy).
Answer from hostsI/discussion:
We have to change this practice and explain what an e-invoice is (electronic and structured). PDF is not the future for Lithuania

Comment from service provider:
Could we from Lithuania provide a free printer capture software (converting the printer stream into a structure invoicd) to the market?
Answer from EC:
On the specific topic it is difficult to assess if it's a good case, but there are several cases in the past where public sector provide open source software and it has been taken up. At the same time, similar services are already provided on a commercial basis.

Comment from service provider:
Singapore did this in 1 year - what made that work for them?
Answer from EC:
It all comes down to legacy and culture. If you carry over a lot of legacy it will take longer time to adopt new technology, legislation or change business processes. Also the culture in different societies can be a factor for adopting changes. The Nordic countries has  reached the conclusion that a single agency/contact pointis the way forward to set policies, drive the adoption of the directive.

Question to audience:
Have you discussed the use of CIUS?
Answer from service providers:
Yes, because of our selected infrastructure components and will hence use the PEPPOL CIUS.

Q: Lithuanian companies can be registered on a virtual address, is that possible according to the EN?
A: Good, question, this need to be further investigated.
CEF Funding

A: Have you experience in CEF funding?
Q: Yes, several projects. It was very good and enabled both building the infrastructure and knowledge
