Specifications: eDelivery AS4, SMP, BDXL, ebCore Party Id 2.0 Profiles
- The disposition of public review comments from the second consultation on the 2024 eDelivery profile drafts have been published on .
- The eDelivery specifications were updated based on feedback from the second consultation and the two interoperability events organised in June. Under internal review.
- A new session of the Interoperability Event will be organised on with potentially 3 new products to be tested.
- Following discussions with ETSI in late June-early July, it was established that collaborative work on the alignment of the next version of the ETSI framework with eDelivery AS4 2.0 can only take place in 2025.
- Change request submitted to ETSI's electronic signature cryptography standard ETSI TS 119 312 to include EdDSA on the list of approved algorithms is not progressing due to lack of feedback from SOG-IS.
Software product: Domibus
- Domibus 5.0.9 was released on .
- Domibus 5.1.6 was released on .
- Fixes a blocking issue for some OOTS users.
- Fixes an important bug affecting the EU Send corporate service.
- Aligns with 5.0.8 so that TAPAS production can be upgraded to this version.
- Domibus 5.2 RC development work is ongoing in parallel, currently planned to be released on the , but may be postponed to allow more time for upgrading Domibus 5.2 from Java 11 to Java 17+. The decision is delayed due to continued uncertainty for several months about the release date of Oracle WebLogic 14.1.2 and its subsequent availability in data centres.
- More extensive list of new features published: extensible storage solution (default support for file system & Amazon S3, users can create extensions for other cloud services), configurable security policy (allowing users to configure separate certificates for signing and encryption) and tentative support for Hardware Security Modules.
- Support for Java 11 is very problematic due to a number of reasons. Upgrade to Java 17+ preferable if aligned with Oracle WebLogic roadmap.
Software product: DomiSMP
- DomiSMP 5.1 RC release is planned for the .
- With Domibus documentation migrated to a modern pipeline and published in the new format, the DomiSMP and DomiSML documentation is now being migrated as well.
